Installation aims to be simple, limited to dropping the scripts in a folder on your server, visiting install.php and testing it out. Some people ask if using an ajax chat script that polls the server is bad for server performance. Of course you're not going to want to run a 50 user chat using a php script for the server side but for 10-20 users, your server should be able to handle it ok.
This is because the polling that the chat client does really piggybacks on an open connection with the webserver.
This means there isn't all the setup/teardown overhead of visiting a website of grabbing an image from a random web server.
